Sydney Tram Museum

As a fan of train and tram, I took the opportunity to visit the Tram Museum while in Sydney. The Tram museum is at Loftus, south of Sydney.
I took a ride in these two green tram around the museum. These were very old Tram that have been refurbished for the visitor to take a ride....

Sekarang ni memang busy dan byk keje-keje yg perlu disiapkan...data-data yg dikumpul semasa di US dulu nak kene analisa...so tak sempat la nak aktif sgt dgn fotopages ni...anyway sy akan cuba gak dptkan masa utk menjenguk fp kengkawan yg lain...sebelum tu enjoyla gambar-gambar train yg diambil di Sydney ari tu...haha sy memang peminat train....

I arrived in Gold Coast, Queensland on 4th Mar at about 7.40 in the morning. Hilmi and Mel fetch me at the airport and I drove my car back to Taringa in Brisbane, 110km from Coolangatta the Gold Coast Airport. I reached home at 10.30 and was really, really tired...but it's good to be in your own house after 3 months away.
This photo was taken from the taxi rank in front my office....in the middle of spring last year...the purple Jacaranda flowers were in full bloom...

I came back to Malaysia from the US two weeks ago, and fell sick with fever and cough a few days after that. I think the last time I have this kind of fever was more than 10 years ago....
I don't have a place of my own back in Malaysia....here's is my elder bro house. My mum's house is just next door of this house.
My bro just finished renovated his house....and this is the favourite place to 'lepak' and have a chat.
When I stayed almost 50 days in the US and missed the Malaysian food...so here is 'ayam percik' and grilled mackerel...the one on the left are fish eggs...
These are the Santalia flowers....these flower plants originally planted by me when I stayed in Kelantan years ago and have been brought back when I moved to Pahang.

In the village life people lead a carefree and simple life...these two high school aged boys didn't wear the safety helmets....and I don't think they have the license to ride that motorbike....

Manhattan - Staten Island, New York

First of all...thanks a lot to you guys for spending your time surfing my fotopages, giving comments and suggestions... really appreciate it...The first two pictures taken inside the MET, nasib baik ada tiang beranda yang menggantikan tripod...dalam ni memang grand dan cantik...
Yang ini ialah Staten Island Ferry...dalam dunia ni masih ada lagi yang free...Ferry ni mengangkut kira-kira 60 ribu orang sehari dari St George di Staten Island ke Whitehall Street di Manhattan New York secara percuma...inilah servis yg pihak berkuasa beri untuk memudahkan orang berulang alik pegi kerja, pelancong nak ambik gambar dan sesiapa sahaja...sebanyak 109 trip sehari berulang alik....jarak antara Staten Island dgn Manhattan ni 5 miles, dan trip ni selama 25 minit...
Ini adalah antara sebab sy naik Staten Island Ferry ni...nak ambik gambar Statue of Liberty...memang byk cruise yg berbayar boleh pegi dan singgah dibwh statue Lady Liberty ni tetapi sy tak ikut...ambik yg free aje...
Dua gambar dibawah ni diambil dari dalam Ferry tu...mengadap ke Lower Manhattan, New York...
Sebelum bertolak ke Newark untuk balik, sy pegi sekali lagi ke Times Square...lepas ni ntah bila pulak boleh sampai disini...
Yellow Cab ni memang sinonim dgn New York...merasa naik teksi ni dari PA Bus Station di 42nd Street ke Hotel di 38th Street, kene charge $6.00...
Yang ini masih belum ada di Malaysia...tempat letak kereta namanya Unparalled Parking...kereta yg parking disini disusun atas rak...cam kerete mainan pulak....

Tiga gambar pertama dibawah ni dirakamkan di Washington DC, pada hari terakhir di DC, selepas bergambar didepan White House. Sy telahpun berada di New York, sejak beberapa hari yg lalu, New York ni destinasi terakhir sebelum bertolak balik, melalui Newark Airport hujung minggu ni...nak balik dah...
Sy bertolak dari Washington DC ke New York naik Greyhound Bus, mengambil masa 3 jam...sampai di New York kali kedua ni cuaca kurang baik sket...flurries...gambar ni dirakamkan di depan hotel ketika snow turun...
Dua gambar berikut dirakamkan dari puncak Empire State Building, bangunan ni popular dlm citer King Kong…
Dlm gambar ni kalau tak salah sebelah northeast, dgn Bangunan Chrysler dan MetLife..
Yang ni pulak pemandangan Downtown Manhattan…tempat dimana World Trade Center pernah berdiri…

Lagu nyanyian Dafi ni tetiba jadi kegemaran sy pulak. Mungkin sebab liriknya memang kene dgn travel kali ni, especially part Jauh sekali hidup di sini berbeza, Beribu kali lagi ku selesa di sana, Tak sabar menantikan detik kepulangan, Namun hingga itu, Apa yang termampu...Seperti yg dicatat dlm entry yg lepas, due to other commitments and constraints my other half tak ikut travel...so God knows how sorely I miss dia....
Ini ialah Union Station, stesen keretapi Washington DC, stesen ni dah 100 thn lebih umur dia. Stesen ni memang besar, dan kat dalam dia memang cantik...dengan ukiran, patung-patung klasik..
Terlintas di fikiran untuk meminggirkan saja, Semua pencarian di sini, Tetapi ini sebahagian dari pengorbanan, Bekalan andainya hari sukar mencabar...memang kekadang ada masa rasa nak balik je...
Washington DC ni memang banyak memorial...yang ini Jefferson Memorial...peringatan utk Presiden Jefferson. Memorial ni dibina dgn style rumah Jefferson, Monticello.
Lagu Dafi ni start dgn Apa agaknya khabarmu di sana? Di sini ku sedang dibelenggu rindu, Beginikah rasa seksa perpisahan, Sungguh anehnya hidup berasingan...thank god...there's Skype...so bolehla nak call dan sms selalu, tapi disebabkan perbezaan waktu...13 jam, hanya sms awal pagi dan lewat petang...
Yang ini pulak ialah Lincoln Memorial, dlm memorial ni ada tugu besar Lincoln dan ucapan dia yang famous tu terpahat didinding memorial ni...maybe next entry sy akan upload gambar tugu tu...

Yang ini ialah Ten Dollars Picture...hahaha sebab excited sgt nak ambik gambar ari malam, kene balik ke hotel naik teksi, tambangnya $10...boleh naik Metro tapi tak digalakkan atas sebab-sebab keselamatan...ingatkan ari malam ramai org depan Capitol Building ni, rupanya sunyi sepi, ada la 2..3 orang..to my other half...Happy Birthday..
